How come some American cartoons make fun of Canada?

Because we (Americans) love Canada even though they do not return the sentiment. So we josh them a bit. All in good fun.
American’s hate Canada because we have it way better off in Canada. Canada does not try to start fights with other countries. We only got pulled into Afganistan because of America.
Don’t take it seriously, it’s all in fun.
American cartoonists make fun of everything…have you looked at how they poke fun at our elected officials.
I know that most of us consider Canada to be an important friendly country.
