Mandy asked:

….like Nickelodeon studios, Toon Disney, etc. Who all goes into producing cartoons? (besides the obvious cartoonist) What should I go to school for if this is where I want to work?

Animation artist, photographer, writer, actor, you can go to school for any of the above and more, but I think to break into the field it may be more effective to offer your services voluntarily as an apprentice, at least on a part time basis. There’s nothing like getting yourself known and depended upon in these types of careers.

google art institute, or a local university or college that has digital art in its curriculum.
My daughter went to this one
She ended up getting a job at Big Sandwich entertainment (games, backgrounds, character concepts) she mostly had to learn to copy someone else’s style.
This was just contract work, and she was offered a full time job in Quebec City for a company that subcontracts to Disney. She starts in October….and she’s in Japan right now visiting a friend who is teaching English in a small town not far from Okinawa.

My daughter draws obsessively.
here’s here page in Deviantart.
